Being efficient is not an easy task. It takes years of practice to really pull it off well. We are so consumed with our busy lives that we sometimes put off what is important for those things that are least important. As a business owner it is important to keep your productivity high and earn more money.

We talk about holding people accountable. Does that mean punishment or blame? Doesn’t it suggest control when we use words like “hold?” Are people responsible or not? Don’t we want to work with people who are fully responsible instead of those who need to be controlled?

My boys and my work are sources of great joy (more often than not) and fulfillment in my life. Over the years, I have found that incorporating my home and work lives have brought me greater happiness and success.

We know from studies we’ve done that, in the final analysis, when all is said and done, an employer is going to hire you because he/she likes you. That’s right! An employer will always pick someone, not because of a work history and job credentials, but because he/she sees you fitting into the team.

One thing was certainly clear-he wasn’t going to find what he needed from his existing network of contacts. That track had been lapped multiple times. Thus, he’d put the word out three weeks ago that he was open to learning about new firms and experts. Since then, the trickle of white papers and reports that came across his desk had turned into a veritable tsunami.

I don’t know about you, but I think blogging is a perfect business for someone who has limited monetary resources. No doubt the blog business is a low barrier to entry business, and any Tom, Dick and Harry could be in business in minutes. However, bear in mind, to run a successful blog, you still need skill and stamina. Running a blog business is a marathon, not a sprint!
